Spring is in the air and we have been sucking it up in Spring-filled Suffolk. Last night we did a show in the delightful village of Walsham le Willows, home of the famous garden weekend. We were very well looked after by hosts Maggie and Rob who had decorated the village hall with primroses, violas and other Spring flowers from their lovely garden, which has a stream running through it. It also has a tree with fairies living in it, a popular attraction during open garden weekend.
Dan was pleased because – as usual – after the show a kind audience member said I reminded them of Miranda. However, the same audience member whispered to me that Dan reminded her of Donald Duck. Ha ha ha. I reckon it was the way Dan had styled his hair. It was particularly sticky-uppy.
On our way out of the village we stopped off at the allotments, which are noted for their colourful sheds. The one on the right is by far the most colourful. I have been considering painting my garden shed a vivid hue and seeing these jolly sheds has inspired and encouraged me to be bold.
We’re off to Norfolk next for a show in Ovington tonight and one in Wood Norton on Sunday. At the moment we are in Norwich. Dan has gone to an audio shop to look at wires. I hope he remembers to buy some more carrots for tonight.
