He are some more proud graduates from the Can You Dig It? academy of vegetable instrument excellence. All our scholars in Scotton successfully made cucumber trumpets and played several haunting melodies including Three Blind Mice and Ilkley Moor Bar T’at. We enjoyed doing the show in Scotton – not be confused with its nearby rival Scotter.
Afterwards we dined with our delightful hosts and were very excited to find that they had several editions of Dr DG Hessayon’s Expert series of gardening books, including The Bedding Plant Expert, that we do not currently own. I now have a craving for more DG Hessayon books. Once you start collecting them, it becomes an obsession. As well as The Bedding Plant Expert, I am keen to get my gardening mitts on The Flower Arranging Expert.
Tonight we’re off to Ropsley, which is apparently the source of the River Eden so must be a paradise on earth.
