This was an exciting moment for Can You Dig It? – our first outdoor performance in a real-life vegetable garden. We couldn’t have had better weather or a more lovely setting – the King Henry’s Walk Garden, Islington – a brilliant community project that sees local residents grow their own in this beautifully-designed space crammed with veg, flowers and newts (in the pond). But best of all was the fact I got to meet the real-life Easter/Spring Bunny. Look how happy I am!
We’re off to Shropshire tomorrow to play at the Arts Alive menu launch. It’s not the launch of a food menu but a menu of shows, including ours, and the whole event is themed around vegetables, inspired by Can You Dig It?, which is fantastic. We’ve got some fun activities planned, which is why I have some compost in my bag.
