Here is another glamorous photo of my showbiz lifestyle as I gracefully tip a bucket of kitchen slops into my compost dalek. Dan and I have been rehearsing non-stop for the Can You Dig It? tour but I have not been neglecting my plot (unlike Dan). The other day we had a session with a choreographer for the exciting NEW dance routine that we’ll be premiering at our first show at The Brewhouse Theatre in Taunton on February 8. I wanted to put up a photo of us leaping about in our leotards and leg warmers but Dan conveniently “forgot” to bring his camera. After Taunton, we’ll be hot-footing it to Great Torrington in North Devon for our show at The Plough Arts Centre on February 9. Oh and listen out for us on BBC Radio Devon on the morning of the 9th at about 11am – we’ll be showing presenter Judi Spiers how to make a cucumber trumpet. We were on lovely community radio station 10Radio at the weekend and had a good old chinwag with presenter Barry Somers, although he said I was “boring” when I went into too much detail about which seed potatoes I am planning on growing. I promise that the new and improved Can You Dig It? will be much more interesting and fun than my Witchills, Ulster Classics, and Ryecroft Purples (although, personally I think they ARE fun and interesting).
