My allotment is full of surprises such as these tomato plants which mysteriously appeared overnight in one of my beds. Turns out they are gift from my allotment friend “Tomato Man” (I don’t know his name and it has got to the stage where it would be too embarrassing for me to ask).

I went to a Jubilee BBQ today and was menaced by this suspicious-looking pigeon. I suspect it is one of Derrick the Evil Pigeon‘s chums or henchpigeons.
